Making rail regulation processes easy to grasp
We worked with the Office of Rail and Road on a series of short “Did You Know?” animations designed to show the work that goes on behind the scenes of the rail network, from authorising trains and managing capacity to keeping level crossings safe. Each animation uses a minimalist, icon-style illustration and clear, purposeful motion to turn internal processes into quick, visual stories that make technical topics feel easy to understand.
Campaigning for passenger rights
Part of ORR "Know your rail rights" campaign, we created a suite of short explainers tailored for social media. The detailed illustration of the ticket machine engages the viewer to get clear and concise information from flipping tickets, making these shorts useful and playful for more impact on a wider audience.
Designing Safer Crossings
The Office of Rail and Road needed a clear, engaging way to explain internal guidance around level crossing safety to its staff. We created two detailed animations, one focused on footpath crossings, the other on complex heritage sites, each designed to make real-world scenarios feel authentic and relatable. Bespoke illustration and carefully framed scenes bring the environments to life, helping staff visualise the specific challenges of each setting.
Britains railway in numbers
This short social media "at the glance" infographics bring rail data to life through efficient motion design.
When data moves
For rail enthusiasts, ORR’s data releases are a big deal, so instead of another spreadsheet, we turned the stats into something worth watching. These short social infographics present key rail figures with a mix of playful motion and serious design, bringing accuracy and energy together in one clear snapshot.
Who We Are and What We Do
We helped the Office of Rail and Road explain its role in keeping Britain’s railways and roads safe, fair, and efficient. This short explainer introduces the organisation through clear storytelling and icon-style illustration, bringing structure and consistency to the message. The design stays true to ORR’s brand while using simple motion and a friendly tone to make its work easy to understand and engaging to watch.
